The controversy over the disappearance of the Start button is a big part of the frustration and noise in Windows 8. Microsoft is confident it can return to the desktop versions of Windows 11.
The basic functions of the user interface are:
I doubt 100%. Windows 11 is a soft expansion of Windows 8, the word pressure is soft. Microsoft is trying to make this update as minimal as possible. I believe there will be significant changes and there is nothing offensive.
Deep integration with cutting:
I believe this to be true. Microsoft continues to work with Bing and I think Windows 11 is no exception. The next version of Microsoft Windows has a lot of possibilities to integrate search into the OS.
Deep integration with Azure for cloud storage:
I hope Microsoft continues to use Azure for cloud storage. Microsoft can integrate parts of the OS with cloud documents / file storage.
Advanced Power Management:
It already exists. Microsoft has done a fantastic job with Power Management with Windows 8 and Windows 8.1. Makes the OS more efficient in newer versions of Microsoft Windows.
Good gesture integration:
This is relevant if Microsoft tries to add gesture detection in Windows 11. I hope the company goes beyond the initial steps taken in Windows 8.1 (especially Pak applications). If they can succeed in this, it is better to use computer gestures.
I hope Windows 11 has better security features, including fingerprint recognition. Microsoft has done a wonderful job of security, and continues to block Windows with every major release.
Only 64 bits?
This is a long myth. In the last 6 years, we’ve had Microsoft switch to 64 bit systems specifically. My suspicion is that this will happen in this release. Once again, I draw your attention to the fact that this is not a controversial issue, but as sensitive as possible without problems and experiences. At least Microsoft expects to do so.
For all this at the moment, I will continue to update this page as new information becomes available.
What is Cortana in Windows 11?
Windows 11 gets an extension from Microsoft to Siri and Google Now competitor Cortana. It is available in all new versions, including interactive panels, laptops and tablets. Microsoft’s Joe Balfour unveiled Cortana’s new PC-based features starting on January 21st.
Cortana is a digital assistant for easy access to files, apps and other information.
What are the universal Windows 11 apps?
Microsoft is developing special editions for Windows, Office 11, special applications such as phones and 8-inch tablets.
Apps like Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and LoTlook look similar to their desktop counterparts, but with the touch screen and its size. With Microsoft Cloud Infrastructure, you can access all your files, no matter where they are created on these devices.
Based on the January 21 event, Microsoft has confirmed that the most important part of universal applications will launch in the second half of 2015. This puts Office 2016 ahead of Windows 11 in terms of release.
What is Continuum in Windows 11?
At the January 21 event, Microsoft demonstrated its “persistent” approach to developing Windows 11.
Continuum is designed to be compatible with the look of Windows operating devices.
As in the example of the Surface Pro 3, when the tablet is attached to a keyboard overlay, the Surface Pro 3 acts like a laptop, which is technically. Then, as soon as the keyboard is removed, a small icon appears at the bottom right of the screen, asking if you want to activate tablet mode.
This action shifts all applications to full screen, makes the icon slightly larger.
What is Spartan in Windows 11?
Spartan Project is a new version of the company’s Internet Explorer.
Some new features of this new browser:
Ability to tag web pages before sharing them with others. Ability to comment on similar pages at software level. Embedded offline reading and PDF support
Local Cortana support and integration:
Spartan is not an alternative to Internet Explorer, it is the second browser. While Microsoft Spartan works with the rest of the network, IE11 is saved for compatibility with previous versions and corporate sites.
Xbox Integration with Windows 11:
The app collects all the games ever played on any Xbox or Windows 11 device, a universal list of friends and activity tape. With Windows 11, every device receives a pre-installed Xbox application.
Users can record game sessions through game DVR tools and share them over the Xbox network. In fact, Windows 11 transfers the automated accounting function to Xbox One for games on Windows 11 – even those that are launched using other applications such as Steam.
It is also possible to stream any Xbox One game on any Windows 11 device inside the home using Wi-Fi.
What is a Corporate License in Windows 11?
As we discussed in detail here, Microsoft has announced plans to promote Windows 11 for corporate users: through the Windows Software Assurance Program.
At the same time, the program offers a number of ways for corporate users to upgrade the system’s arsenal to the new OS, which means it’s not free for both custom versions of Windows 11.
The SA program is designed to give corporate customers more control over when and how updates are launched to their machines. In fact, with the help of additional long-term service units that only provide security updates and critical updates, the focus is on security and IT flexibility, preventing updates to new features.
